Advantages of the E3400

Orange tag=Less smoke. This unit has been tested and has received the orange EPA tag. If you care at all about the environment you need to look at this stove. There are many outdoor wood furnace companies that claim their furnaces will meet this standard, but unless it has the orange sticker there is no proof whatsoever that it has.

·         Uses less wood. Much less wood. Depending on your wood you will use 30-50% less wood then a normal outdoor wood furnace.

·          Long burn times. This stove when hooked up to most homes under 6000 sq ft will burn 18-24 hours or more depending on time of year and type of fuel being used.

·         Low ash left. People who own these machines often ask where does all the ash go? Most people clean their furnace once every 2 weeks and then only get about 2 gallons of ash out of it.

·         No splitting required. This stove has a huge 24”x24” door. If you can get it through the door there is no reason to split it.

·         Lockable doors.  Both the front entrance door and the side control door are lockable to keep out that pesky mother in law.

·         Black front. Why have a furnace that has a colored face when the first time you load it is going to get covered in smoke residue. This furnace will look as good from the outside in the spring as it did in the fall.

·          Proven durability.  This model has already been in production for 1 season and proven itself to be a very dependable unit. Competitors have new units coming out, but if you buy one of those you will be their proving ground.

·         Made of ¼” boiler plate. Don’t let yourself fall for the stainless steel lie. 304 stainless becomes brittle with heat\cold cycles, boiler plate does not. 409 stainless will rust just as easily as steel, and when they build your furnace out of it they will only use 1/8” or less which just means the rust will make it through it quicker.  Maintenance is the same, as all furnaces should use boiler treatment to help preserve the steel.  The oldest furnaces that you find in the field are usually boiler plate or mild steel.

·          Easy to maintain.  All areas of this furnace are easily accessible. There is a cleanout door on the rear of the furnace that gives you access to all of the smoke chambers in the event you ever need to clean them. Large bobber type water level indicator makes it easy to see when you need to add water. Ash pan comes with furnace for easy cleaning of ashes.
